This center is an amazing resource for our community. IRoots is one of the only community spaces where EVERYONE is truly welcomed and honored for who they are. My kids have participated in dance classes, my partner and I enjoy the visual art exhibits, my elderly parents appreciate the wealth of cultural diversity, we all love the warmth and openness of the staff and artisans. There is always something new to experience at Indigenous Roots! But especially in this year of 2020 that has seen its share of intersecting crises, IRoots has been a leader in meeting the needs of the community. It is important for our family to be able to follow leadership that is directly tied to the communities it serves. IRoots is the real deal. And because of the Covid pandemic and the shut downs all around, the income that IRoots depends on to do this important work has been compromised.
